We had a great time at the Christmas party. I know we didn't get pictures of everyone but I was unable to pick up a camera the entire night. (Thanks to GPaw for these great images.) I hope I can do this Christmas party every year!!!

I'm a little behind so we'll have to go back to Thanksgiving to catch up. We had lunch at my Dad's and then at Dan's parents. Great time with family!

If my Dad is involved, a trip to the emergency room is always just a short distance away.

She was laughing hard...and so were we when she got out and we saw this:

Then we did some more horsing around...
TOUCH
KISS
RIDE
As easy as 1, 2, 3!

I have been "couponing" for some time now. But now I am a graduate of the Southern Savers official class, so I've upped the ante. I got everything in this picture for less than $14. That is 2 boxes of Rice Krispies, 1 gallon of milk, 4 Green Giant frozen veggies, 1 Sunday Newspaper, 1 bottle of Lysol Toilet Cleaner, 2 bottles of Lysol Multi-purpose cleaner with bleach, 1 bottle of Lysol Bathroom Cleaner with bleach, 1 bag marshmallows, 1 pack Publix wieners (for Fluffy, because they are gross, but they cost just 1 penny ), 3 packs Oscar Mayer wieners, 2 bottles Dove Ultimate deodorant, 3 cans of Betty Crocker icing, 2 (half gallons?) of Mayfield Black Walnut ice cream. Now, for you people who might be reading that aren't familiar with how much groceries cost....the deodorant was $4.49 each so think of it like buying 2 deodorants and a gallon of milk and getting everything else FREE! After this trip, I got in my car and giggled all the way home. JACKPOT! (If you want details, I saved $54 on this shopping trip.)

I am going to teach a coupon class to show my friends and family how to do this. If you are interested, contact me via phone, email, or facebook, or leave a comment here. When I get the class scheduled I will let you know. It will be free, and for friends, family, and coworkers only (not the general public).

Thank you to Jenny at Southern Savers for inspiration to pass the info along.

A few weeks back Dan's family came from Colorado to visit with us. We had a marvelous time having them over. Now let's talk about the food. We cooked, yes we includes both Dan and myself. And it was DELICIOUS. No housefires, no fire extinguishers, no smoke alarms... We had perfectly smoked filet mignon with a sweet rasberry salad, corn on the cob, and Cajun rice pilaf. For once, I was proud of my cooking! It was good to see you Uncle Jerry and Aunt Sheila. Thanks for the goodies and come back as soon as you can!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Although technically this was Daniley's second Halloween, it was more like her first. Last year she was only 8 weeks old so she didn't too much get into it. But this year, completely different story. This kid ran around WIRED all night long. I kept thinking, any minute she's going to crash....she just kept going and going and going (running around until 10pm)!
We went to Honey and G-Paws and took James Dexter for a ride in Daniley's wagon, went trick-or-treating in Mom's neighborhood, and also attended Mom's annual Halloween Party (for kids). It was soooo much fun. Dan and Daniley are the world to me and I love when we can goof off together!

At first Daniley was a little nervous about trick-or-treating. She would get on the sidewalk and then not proceed to the door. But when she realized they were giving her candy, it didn't take long for her to start knocking herself. She even sneaked some of the candy out her bag when I wasn't looking and ate it through the wrapper. I guess if she poops KitKat wrappers, I'll know why.

I was a banana and Dan was a banana tree. I don't have any great pictures of us...yet!

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch. It was much different than last year, because
1. Daniley WILL NOT sit still to get her picture taken.
2. You don't have to carefully balance her on the pumpkin...she can do it herself.
3. You can't leave her in one spot and come back and hope she's still there. (LOL)
4. Pumpkin weighs less than baby.
We had a wonderful time. As always, our best times are those spent together!!!!
Oh, and might I add, Daniley was the cutest pumpkin in the patch... ;-)

Daniley LOVES to roughhouse. The rougher you are, the more she likes it. The other night I thought I would try riding her on my back.

Now I know...you're gasping. LOL.
But if she didn't like it, why did she keep climbing back on????
Then Mommy got scared and wouldn't do it anymore. Now what?
CALL DADDY!
I'm practicing my hand at sewing. This is my third outfit. I just want to eat her up. :-)

What a great weekend!!!! We went to Boo at the Zoo and had a GREAT time. I'm dying to put pictures on here but I don't want to reveal our costumes before our family can see them on Halloween. Additionally we will be trick-or-treating in SoCo/Inverness Friday before Halloween and I want to make sure everyone has to think twice before they recognize us. (Poppa, I see you are on vacation and I'm sad. For the rest of you, we like Reese Cups, hahaha. ) We attended a family reunion, got haircuts, built a fire in the fireplace, watched a few football games, and ate lots of good food.
One last thing....when Daniley was 6 months old, you said it got better. At 9 months old, said it got better. We're at 14 months and I am still loving this child more every day. Each day I think I've reached my maximum love capacity only to be outdone the next day. I woke Daniley up from 3 naps this weekend because I missed her. (She's been sleeping over 2 hours at a time.) I just love her so much it's indescribable. She's SOOOOOO cute...and I found out if you give her Reese Cups she'll sit in your lap and snuggle. So I bought 4 bags.

Dear Stacy,
If you receive a bunch of crooked pictures of Daniley from your film development, please understand I am not guilty. And I'm not naming any names.
We went to a friend's wedding...Stacy (no longer) Gill. We met the cutest little girl I have ever seen. Her name was Hannah. The minute she saw Daniley she offered her a snack. She was about Daniley's size, but more articulate than even I am. I asked her mom her age, and she said 4, and that she was a "little person." I didn't immediately catch on but after a couple of minutes, I got it. She was the cutest thing I have ever seen, and SOOO friendly. She called Daniley "Emily" and so all night she was saying "Emily, come play." "Emily, come here." "Emily." "Emily." "Emily." I can still hear her cute voice. She was precious...so here are some pictures to share.
Daniley and I went to a "Pottery Party" and saw lots of our friends. It was a great time. I always love getting together...I wish everyone was able to get together more often. Anyway, we got several pieces of pottery, all including Daniley's hand and foot prints. She liked doing it; I was kind of surprised. Here are some cute pictures from the party. The cute little girl loving on Daniley is Katelyn, one of our friends. I have always known her to be quiet and shy (I know her mom would TOTALLY disagree) so I was surprised when I saw her loving on Daniley. Thanks for inviting us to the party....we had so much fun!!
